Sikka / Daniel Canogar

360 recycled DVDs forms this scultural video installation based in Sikka, small decorative ancient coins that eventually became in sequins. Daniel Canogar selected film segments from each of the DVDs for their color, shape and movement value and it were projected in a loop way with a self-generated soundtrack making a effect of an audio-visual mosaic.

360 DVDs reciclados crean esta vídeo instalación escultórica basada en las Sikka, pequeñas monedas antiguas decorativas que en la actualidad han evolucionado en la lentejuelas. Daniel Canogar selecciona fragmentos de las películas que contiene estos DVDs en funcion del color, la forma o el ritmo y las proyecta en forma de bucle junto con una banda sonora auto-generadas creando un efecto de mosaico audiovisual.

21 Balançoires (21 Swings) / Daily tous les jours

21 Balançoires (21 Swings) is a giant collective instrument, a game where together we achieve better things than separately. When in motion, each swing in the series triggers different notes and, when used all together, the swings compose a musical piece in which certain melodies emerge only through cooperation. The result is a giant collective instrument that stimulates ownership of the new space, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds, and creating a place for playing and hanging out in the middle of the city center.

21 Balançoires Swings (21) es un instrumento gigante colectivo, un juego en el que juntos podemos lograr mejores cosas que por separado. Cuando está en movimiento, cada golpe en la serie de disparadores diferentes notas y, cuando se usan en conjunto, los cambios de componer una pieza musical en la que ciertas melodías surgen sólo a través de la cooperación. El resultado es un instrumento gigante colectivo que estimule la propiedad del nuevo espacio, que reúne a personas de todas las edades y orígenes, y crear un lugar para jugar y pasar el rato en el medio del centro de la ciudad.

‘A Million Times’ is the result of a large investigation that began with their ‘clock clock’ installation. This Kinetic installation was created by Humans Since 1982 studio with 288 analogical clock that are synchronize with an iPad to create figures and draws.

‘A Million Times’ es el resultado de una larga investigación que se inició con su instalación ‘clock clock’. Esta instalación cinética realizada por el estudio Humans Since 1982 con 288 relojes analógicos que mediante un iPad están sincronizados para crear diferentes figuras y dibujos.

Media Block Chair / TeamLab

Japan-based designers TeamLab have created this cube form smart seats, in a ‘Tetris’ line form this modules have been thought to be used as a chair or as a table once it are linked they interact together changing its colour. Three of it sides are protruding and the rest of them are indented, this protruding are links between cubes that allow to interact between them.

Los diseñadores japoneses TeamLab han creado estos asientos inteligentes en forma de cubo, en una estética de juego ‘Tetris’ estos modulos están pensados para que puede usarse tanto de silla como de mesa de tal forma que al unirse intercatúan cambiando de color. Tres de caras tienen un saliente mientras que las otras tres caras restantes son lisas, este saliente es el vinculo entre los cubos permitiendo que los cubos interactúen entre ellos.

Woodland Wiggle / Chris O’Shea and Nexus Interactive Arts

Collaboration with Nexus Interactive Arts and commissioned by Vital Arts has made real this magic space in Royal London Hospital. A world based on ‘Alice in Wonderland’ where is full of oversized furniture. An enormous TV is one of the main pieces of this installation which is connected with a Kinet camera that allows kids can interact with a world where wiggling their hands they can create sounds,make rain orswiping at creatures on the screen.

La colaboración entre Chris O’Shea y Nexus Interactive Arts junto con el comisionado de Vital Arts han hecho realidad este mágico espacio en el Royal Hospital de Londres. Un mundo basado en ‘Alicia en el país de la maravillas’ donde todos los elementos del mobiliario están sobre escalados. Un gran televisor es una de la piezas fundamentales de esta instalación que conectada a una camara Kinet consiguen que los niños interactúen con un mundo donde agitando sus brazos puede hacer lluvia, pintar o acariciar a las criaturas que aparecen.

Interactive Sociogram is an interactive installation that is part of INTERMEDIÆ shed in Matadero Madrid. It is a pilot project that studies the relationships between people who pass through this space by projections that graphically represent the bonds that are created between them.

Sociograma interactivo es una instalación interactiva que forma parte de la nave INTERMEDIÆ del Matadero Madrid. Es un proyecto experimental que estudia las relaciones de las personas que pasan por este espacio mediante unas proyecciones que representan gráficamente los vínculos que se crean entre ellas.

The Good Night Lamp / The Good Night Lamp team

The Good Night Lamp are lamps interconnected between them by using a web-site and it allows to know in any place of the world if any of this lamps has been switched off. A main lamp is interconnected with the small ones that they will be switched on or switched off in depending of the main one, it allows to know if a friend or a relative has gone to bed, has ended his work or to know the availability of a partner a working team that works in different parts of the world.

The Good Night Lamp son una serie de lamparas interconectadas entre sí mediante una web que permiten en cualquier parte de mundo saber si una de esas lamparas ha sido apagada. Una lampara madre se interconecta con varias lamparas hijas que estarán apagadas o encendidas dependiendo de la principal, esto permite saber si un amigo o miembro de la familia se ha ido a la cama, ha terminado su jornada laboral o si un equipo trabaja en diferentes partes del mundo para saber su disponibilidad.

Walk The Light / Cinimod Studio

’Walk The Light’ designed by Cinimod Studio is an interactive installation mounted at the entrance to the Victoria and Albert Museum’s entrance tunnel. A thermal camera attached to a monorail on the tunnel’s ceiling sensed the body heat of visitors and followed them down the hallway. The camera was also rigged to an LED light system that created a band of light around the person as they walked and it is use as limit to change tunnel´s ambient light.

’Walk The Light’ del estudio de diseño Cinimod es una instalación interactiva montada en los túneles de entrada del Victoria y Albert Museum. Una cámara térmica sobre un monorail colocado en el techo del túnel detecta el movimiento de los visitantes y los sigue durante todo el recorrido. La cámara tiene incorporada un sistema de LEDs que crean un banda de luz sobre la persona mientras camina y sirve de limite para cambiar la luz ambiente del túnel.

Marbles / Studio Roosegaarde

Marbles are an interactive urban furniture pieces, from pearl form modules stuffed full of LEDs, sensors, and speakers so that when a someone approaches or touches them they respond appropriately. This stones are also able to communicate with each other, to making this playground even more fun.

Marbles son unas piezas de mobiliario urbano interactivo, a partir de unos módulos en forma de perla compuestos de LEDs, sensores y altavoces que interactuan con todo aquel que se acerque o los toque. Estas piedras ademas de interacturar con el usuario también se comunican entre ellas, haciendo de esta zona de juegos un lugar mas atractivo.

Nature Trail / Jason Bruges Studio

’Nature Trail’ is an interactive installation created by lighting design Jason Bruges Studio, it was specifically designed for the Ormond Street Hospital, this installation that lights their journey to the operating theatre is an animate forest where different kinds of creatures appears is made with LED panels. Embedded into the wall surface at various heights in order to be accessible to children of different ages and they could interact with horses, deer, hedgehogs, birds and frogs in this “nature trail”.

’Nature Trail’ es una instalación interactiva realizada por el estudio de diseño de iluminación Jason Bruges, especialmente diseñada para el zona infantil del Ormond Street Hospital, esta instalación ilumina su viaje a la sala de operaciones con un bosque digital donde diferentes criaturas de este bosque aparecen gracias a una serie de paneles LED. Instalado en la pared a diferentes alturas para que sea accesible a niños de diferentes edades y poder interactuar con los caballos, ciervos, erizos, pájaros y las ranas en este “sendero natural”.

Landscape Abbreviated / Nova Jiang

Landscape Abbreviated is a kinetic maze made by Nova Jiang, it consist of modular pieces that forms a moving garden. Using a rotary planters synchronized to a computer, the maze gives to the viewer new routes that encourage them to change direction and give them different points of view as they move through this space.

Landscape Abbreviated es un laberinto cinético realizado por Nova Jiang que consiste en unos elementos modulares que forman un jardín en movimiento. Mediante unas jardineras rotatorias sincronizadas a un ordenador, el laberinto da al espectador nuevos recorridos que los animan a cambiar de dirección y puntos de vista a medida que se mueven a través del espacio.

Arquímedes / Daedelus + DANIEL ROZIN

Collaboration between Interactive artist Daniek Rozin and musician Daedelus has crystallized in Arquímedes, a robotic sculpture consisting of 24 square mirrors on a motorized frame and controlled by music. It makes for a live show that plays with light to create a spectacle that emanates from its source on stage, seeping into the crowd and enveloping them.

La colaboración entre el músico Daedelus y el artista interactivoDaniek Rozin se ha cristalizado en Arquímedes, una escultura robótizada compuesta de 24 espejos cuadrados sobre un armazón motorizado y controlada por la música. Se convierte en un show en vivo que juega con la luz para crear un espectáculo donde esta emana del escenario, se filtra en la multitud y los envuelve.

Dj Light is an light and sound installation done in Lima that that gives visitors the power to orchestrate an space of 85 giant globes of light. Each globe has a contain custom LED lighting that ,with software and hardware design by Cinimod Studioque, it allows from a DJ podium to control this installation with the movement.

DJ Light es una instalación de luz y sonido realizada en Lima que permite al visitante orquestar este espacio compuesto de 85 globos. Cada globo contiene una iluminación personalizada de LED de que mediante un software y un hardware diseñado por Cinimod Studioque permite desde el podio del DJ controlar la instalación por el movimiento.

Set Design for Kenzo at Paris Fashion Week 2013 / SuperUber

SuperUber has done to show Kenzo’s Spring/Summer 2013 at Paris Fashion Week this 22 × 8 meter-high cube onto which projections from eight synchronized 22,000-lumen projectors. Based on the new line from Kenzo. Taking inspiration from the designs in the collection, this installation is a series of projections based on a mythical jungle that grew from organic elements into more digital ones explores the boundaries between abstraction and reality.

SuperUber realiza para la presentación de la colección Primavera/Verano de Kenzo en la semana de la Moda de París este cubo de 22 x 8 m en el cual se proyectan ocho proyectores sincronizados de 22.000 lúmenes. Tomando como inspiración los diseños de la nueva colección de Kenzo, la instalación es una serie de proyecciones basadas en una selva mítica que crece entre elementos orgánicos y otros más digitales, y cuya idea es explorar los límites entre la abstracción y la realidad.

Design britishl company crystal CG in collaboration with musical duo Chemical Brother has worked to make this animation based off the Olympic velodrome for the London 2012 Olimpic games. the video features a tron-styled neon wireframe that illustrates an intense futuristic cycling duel between two riders racing around the track

La compañía de diseño británica crystal CG junto con el dúo musical Chemical Brother han trabajado para realizar esta animación basada en el Velódromo para las Olimpiadas de Londres 2012. El vídeo musical muestra el duelo entre dos ciclistas en un velódromo de neones muy cercano a la estética futurista de la película Tron.
