This installation belongs to the exposition Anna which draws on the life and works of 20th century British novelist Anna Kavan. This writer produced a large body of elusive and strange writings that operated somewhere between biography and science fiction, drawing on her own turbulent life.

Esta instalación pertenece a la exposición Anna que se centra en la vida y obra de la novelista británica del siglo XX Anna Kavan. Esta escritora produjo una extensa obra de escritos de carácter escurridizo y peculiar que se sitúan entre la biografía y la ciencia ficción, estando influenciados al mismo tiempo por los turbulentos acontecimientos de su vida personal.

This installation consists of a ten metres diameter plastic sphere which can shelter the green house’s plants, surrounded by 31 helium balloons ensuring that temperature remains constant (Scenography and Audiovisual Techniques; Cynthia González).

Esta instalación está formada por una esfera de de plástico de diez metros de diámetro, que sirve para albergar las plantas de un invernadero, y a su vez está rodeada por 31 globos de helio que sirven para mantener la temperatura de la esfera interior constante (Técnicas Escénicas y Audiovisuales; Cynthia González).

This large balloon is an urban intervention that hovers above the landscape to serve as a beacon to announce events to the public. It is also a device which can control micro level climate and depending on the weather or the public demand, it can create fog, cloud, rain or sun shine effect. / Este globo gigante es una intervención urbana que flota sobre el paisaje funcionando como un gran hito que sirve para anunciar eventos. Así mismo, es un dispositivo de control del microclima, que dependiendo del tiempo atmosférico o de los deseos del ciudadano, puede generar niebla, nubes, lluvia o el efecto del brillo del sol.
