L’ITALIA DI LE CORBUSIER, MAXXI

The exhibition L’Italia di Le Corbusier illustrates the relationship between the Swiss-French architect and Italy. The installation by Umberto Riva consists of a series of self-supporting walls arranged in a triangular plan form. For the installation structures Riva chose timber which has a natural relationship to concrete and Le Corbusier’s interest in natural materials. 

La exposición La Italia de Le Corbusier refleja la relación entre el arquitecto franco-suizo e Italia. La instalación proyectada por Umberto Riva consiste en una serie de piezas autoportantes dispuestas formando triángulos. Para estos soportes Riva a utilizado la madera por su relación con el hormigón y el interés de Le Corbusier por los materiales naturales.
