CLOUD, CAITLIND R.C. BROWN

This large scale interactive installation was created on the basis of 6,000 household light bulbs, steel and metal strings extraction. It was shown in Calgary for the Arts Festival Nuit Blanche. Brown invites the viewer to walk through a hail of strings, to pull them, turn on and off, creating an illusion of lighting on the surface of the cloud. 

Esta instalación interactiva fue construida a partir de 6.000 bombillas domésticas, acero y cuerdas de metal de extracción. Se pudo ver en Calgary durante el Arts Festival Nuit Blanche. En esta pieza Brown invita al espectador a caminar a través de un espacio de cadenas, de las que se puede tirar, encendiendo y pagando las bombillas, con lo que se crean una especie de rayos en la superficie de la nube de bombillas.
