BOWOOS, SAARLAND UNIVERSITY

Students from the Saarland University in Saarbrücken, Germany, have created this pop-up pavilion which is covered in large holes, resembling an oval-shaped beehive. The pavilion allows natural light to stream in from every angle and it is not only lightweight, but durable. The unique structure is being tested on campus for students to relax in and there are even swinging hammocks inside.

Este pabellón ha sido construido por estudiantes de la Universidad de Saarbrücken, en Alemania. Cubierto de grandes agujeros, recuerda de alguna manera a una colmena con forma de ovoide. El pabellón permite la entrada de luz natural por todos los ángulos y no sólo es ligero, sino resistente. La estructura está siendo probada sirviendo como lugar de relajación, ya que incluso incorpora hamacas en el interior.
