PLASTIC GARBAGE GUARDING THE MUSEUM, LUZINTERRUPTUS
This installation has been displayed as part of the “Oh, Plastikacki” exhibition at the Gewerbemuseum of Winthertur. The collective Luzinterruptus invited city inhabitants of the Swiss town to bring disposable shopping sacks to the museum in exchange for tickets to visit it. They filled the bags with air and placed them in two large dumpster bins, each outfitted with light to form a mountain of rainbow hued plastic.
Esta instalación forma parte de la exhibición “Oh, Plastikacki” del Gewerbemuseum de Winthertur. El colectivo Luzinterruptus invitó a los habitantes de la ciudad suiza a traer bolsas de plástico al museo a cambio de entradas para visitarlo. Las bolsas se llenaron con aire y se colocaron en unos contenedores con luz, generándose un efecto de plásticos con distinto matices de colores.
